Progress on 2D Relief

I finally have a plan for the relief. I have also made a bunch of origami birds, butterflys, a swan, a dragonfly, a dragon, pyramids, waterbomb...
I'm still trying to figure out the 3d model. I'm not exactly sure how to do it. The 3d model needs to 'stand on its own'. Needs to be obviously evolved from the relief. So maybe its just a more developed version of the relief. I'll figure something out. Also keeping a blog really helps.

2D and 3D Relief

I tried Origami and Katagami. Now I'm thinking of working in reverse, create something beautiful inspired by Achille Castiglioni design and then extract the dynamic and static patterns from it. I have to re-do the painted patterns anyway in Gouache, leaves a smooth airbrush effect.

Piranesi Inspiration

So I have to design a Piranesi style A1 perspective drawing. I'm not sure whether I should make it an interior architectural space or go outside the box. I'm going to look for inspiration and post some pictures...

So I got a blog...

to keep an electronic diary of my journey through industrial design. I hope this helps future students, or at least is interesting to read, but mainly its just for documentation purposes.
